EmptyRhythm ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our intermittent fasting app.
Key principle: Your health and personal data stays on your device. We do not sell, share, or upload your sensitive health information to any server.
📋Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Body profile: gender, age, height, weight, target weight
- Lifestyle data: activity level, sleep schedule, health sensitivities
- Food diary: meals, calorie intake, nutritional data
- Weight records and fasting logs
Information collected automatically:
- Apple Health data (steps, heart rate, calories) — only if you grant permission
- App usage data stored locally on your device
🏠Data Storage
All sensitive health data is stored locally on your device using CoreData and is never uploaded to our servers.
The following data may sync via iCloud (Apple's encrypted sync service) if you sign in with Apple ID:
- Fasting records and plans
- App configuration and preferences
Body profile, weight records, food diary, and AI chat history are never synced to iCloud and remain only on your device.
🤖AI Features
EmptyRhythm uses on-device AI (Apple Foundation Models) for personalized fasting recommendations. On supported devices (iPhone 15 Pro / iPhone 16 and later with iOS 18.1+), all AI processing happens entirely on your device.
- No personal data is sent to external AI servers
- AI features can be disabled at any time in Settings
- AI content is for reference only and does not constitute medical advice
📸Camera & Photos
Camera access is requested only when you use the food photo recognition feature. Photos are processed locally using Apple's Vision framework and are not uploaded or stored permanently.
You can deny camera access at any time — other app features remain fully functional.
❤️Apple Health (HealthKit)
With your explicit permission, EmptyRhythm can read the following health data:
- Step count, running distance, active energy burned
- Exercise time, resting heart rate
We only read health data — we do not write to Apple Health without your action. Health data is used solely for generating personalized exercise recommendations and health warnings within the app.
🔔Push Notifications
Notifications are opt-in only. We never request notification permission automatically. You can enable or disable each notification type individually in Settings.
Notification types include: fasting start reminders, eating window alerts, and daily progress check-ins.
🍎Sign in with Apple
We use Sign in with Apple for authentication. We only receive a unique Apple User ID — we never access your real name or email address unless you choose to share them.
You can sign out and delete your account data at any time from Settings → Privacy & Data.
🛒In-App Purchases
EmptyRhythm offers a one-time Pro upgrade ($3.99). All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information.
👶Children's Privacy
EmptyRhythm is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
🌍Third-Party Services
EmptyRhythm does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not share your data with any third parties.
🗑️Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time:
- Local data: Settings → Privacy & Data → Clear All Local Data
- iCloud data: Settings → Privacy & Data → Clear iCloud Sync Data
- AI history: Settings → AI Assistant → Clear AI Chat History

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

🏠Datenspeicherung
Alle sensiblen Gesundheitsdaten werden lokal auf Ihrem Gerät mit CoreData gespeichert und niemals auf unsere Server hochgeladen.
Folgende Daten können über iCloud synchronisiert werden (wenn Sie sich mit Apple ID anmelden):
- Fastenaufzeichnungen und -pläne
- App-Konfiguration und Einstellungen
Körperprofil, Gewichtsaufzeichnungen, Ernährungstagebuch und KI-Chatverlauf werden niemals mit iCloud synchronisiert und verbleiben nur auf Ihrem Gerät.
🤖KI-Funktionen
EmptyRhythm verwendet KI auf dem Gerät (Apple Foundation Models) für personalisierte Fastenempfehlungen. Auf unterstützten Geräten (iPhone 15 Pro / iPhone 16 und neuer mit iOS 18.1+) findet die gesamte KI-Verarbeitung vollständig auf Ihrem Gerät statt.
- Es werden keine persönlichen Daten an externe KI-Server gesendet
- KI-Funktionen können jederzeit in den Einstellungen deaktiviert werden
- KI-Inhalte dienen nur als Referenz und stellen keine medizinische Beratung dar
📸Kamera & Fotos
Der Kamerazugriff wird nur angefordert, wenn Sie die Lebensmittelfoto-Erkennungsfunktion verwenden. Fotos werden lokal mit Apples Vision-Framework verarbeitet und weder hochgeladen noch dauerhaft gespeichert.
Sie können den Kamerazugriff jederzeit verweigern — andere App-Funktionen bleiben vollständig nutzbar.

Benachrichtigungen sind nur auf Anfrage. Wir fordern niemals automatisch Benachrichtigungsberechtigungen an. Sie können jeden Benachrichtigungstyp einzeln in den Einstellungen aktivieren oder deaktivieren.
🍎Mit Apple anmelden
Wir verwenden "Mit Apple anmelden" zur Authentifizierung. Wir erhalten nur eine eindeutige Apple-Benutzer-ID — wir greifen niemals auf Ihren echten Namen oder Ihre E-Mail-Adresse zu, es sei denn, Sie entscheiden sich, diese zu teilen.
🛒In-App-Käufe

🏠Stockage des Données
Toutes les données de santé sensibles sont stockées localement sur votre appareil via CoreData et ne sont jamais téléchargées sur nos serveurs.

Le profil corporel, les enregistrements de poids, le journal alimentaire et l'historique des chats IA ne sont jamais synchronisés avec iCloud et restent uniquement sur votre appareil.
🤖Fonctionnalités IA
EmptyRhythm utilise l'IA sur l'appareil (Apple Foundation Models) pour des recommandations de jeûne personnalisées. Sur les appareils compatibles (iPhone 15 Pro / iPhone 16 et ultérieurs avec iOS 18.1+), tout le traitement IA se fait entièrement sur votre appareil.
- Aucune donnée personnelle n'est envoyée à des serveurs IA externes
- Les fonctionnalités IA peuvent être désactivées à tout moment dans Réglages
- Le contenu IA est uniquement indicatif et ne constitue pas un avis médical
📸Appareil Photo & Photos
L'accès à l'appareil photo est demandé uniquement lorsque vous utilisez la fonction de reconnaissance alimentaire par photo. Les photos sont traitées localement via le framework Vision d'Apple et ne sont ni téléchargées ni stockées de façon permanente.
Vous pouvez refuser l'accès à l'appareil photo à tout moment — les autres fonctionnalités de l'app restent entièrement disponibles.
❤️Apple Santé (HealthKit)
Avec votre permission explicite, EmptyRhythm peut lire les données de santé suivantes :
- Nombre de pas, distance de course, énergie active brûlée
- Durée d'exercice, fréquence cardiaque au repos
Nous lisons uniquement les données de santé — nous n'écrivons pas dans Apple Santé sans votre action. Les données de santé sont utilisées uniquement pour générer des recommandations d'exercice personnalisées et des avertissements de santé dans l'app.
🔔Notifications Push
Les notifications sont opt-in uniquement. Nous ne demandons jamais automatiquement la permission de notification. Vous pouvez activer ou désactiver chaque type de notification individuellement dans Réglages.
🍎Se connecter avec Apple
Nous utilisons "Se connecter avec Apple" pour l'authentification. Nous ne recevons qu'un identifiant utilisateur Apple unique — nous n'accédons jamais à votre vrai nom ou adresse e-mail sauf si vous choisissez de les partager.
🛒Achats Intégrés
EmptyRhythm propose une mise à niveau Pro unique (3,99 €). Tous les achats sont traités par Apple via l'App Store. Nous ne collectons ni ne stockons aucune information de paiement.
🗑️Suppression des Données
Vous pouvez supprimer toutes vos données à tout moment :
- Données locales : Réglages → Confidentialité et Données → Effacer toutes les données locales
- Données iCloud : Réglages → Confidentialité et Données → Effacer les données iCloud
- Historique IA : Réglages → Assistant IA → Effacer l'historique des chats IA
